"Chef D'Orchestre" Michael Nowak has prepared a sumptuous musical feast filled with the flavors of Italy past and present. Travel with us to the Italian countryside as Orchestra Novo performs Felix Mendelssohn's enchanting Symphony #4 "Italian" along with Ottorino Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances Suite #3 for strings
In addition, Orchestra Novo is excited to present "Co-Creation Project V" in collaboration with Transitions Mental Health Association serving San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties. Participants were asked to listen to the slow movement of Bach's Concerto for Two Violins and to express through painting what the music represented to them and how it inspired them to share their personal stories. A truly memorable event that you won't want to miss. Mary Beth Woodruff and Grace Seng are our featured soloists.
